About Dickson Road Legal
Dickson Road legal was founded by Ryan Proctor in 2019 and gained national attention after being featured in an RNZ interview for assisting clients with will preparation during the COVID-19 pandemic. During this challenging time, Ryan lost his job but continued serving the community by providing accessible, remote will-writing services through Dickson Road Legal.
Utilising modern technology such as Zoom and Teams, clients were able to safely and securely complete their wills from the comfort of their homes.
The mission of Dickson Road Legal is to make will-making simple, affordable, and accessible, while serving as a catalyst for positive change in how legal services are delivered.
Unlike a traditional law firm, Dickson Road Legal offers a fully remote process: wills can be completed over the phone or via email using our dedicated 0800 number - 0800 4 A WILL. Once your will has been reviewed, clear instructions are provided to help you have your will properly signed and witnessed in accordance with the Wills Act 2007. Two independent witnesses over the age of 18 are required to complete the signing process.
